Constantinos Taliotis

Constantinos Taliotis (b.1983, Nicosia) lives and works in Cyprus. He is a research-based artis, whose practice focuses on narratological, aesthetic and architectural modalities deriving from popular cultural iconography. It ranges from immersive installations to photographic tableaux vivants, and from videos to books and object-based sculptures. His work has been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions at, amongst other places, L’Oeil de Poisson, Quebec City; The Petach Tikva Museum, Tel Aviv; Pilot Galeri, Istanbul; Arcus Projects, Moriya, Japan; AKBANK Cultural Centre, Istanbul; Salone Degli Incanti, Trieste; Thessaloniki Biennial; Künstlerhaus Bethanien, Berlin. Upcoming exhibitions include APhF at the Thessaloniki Museum of Photography and Terra Incognita at the Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo, Turin.Taliotis co-represented Cyprus at the 55th Venice Biennale of Art in a joint exhibition of Cypriot and Lithuanian artists.
